Catholic Healthscan 2006
The Catholic Health Association and Health Strategies & Solutions collaborated on a research project designed to gain a better understanding of the current state of hospital-physician relationships at CHA member organizations. A survey, conducted in the fall of 2005, was developed to gauge a comprehensive range of perspectives about the current challenges Catholic health care organizations and physicians face.
The Catholic Healthscan 2006 report presents the survey results and explores possible approaches for reengaging physicians and health care organizations to enhance the way they deliver quality health care. The report also includes case studies and information about best practices for hospital-physician relationships based on the real-world experiences of Catholic providers.

Based on these survey results and research from the field, the report examines 10 key trends that will impact the delivery of pediatric health care, including growth, market aggregators, finance, government policy, workforce, demographics, health status, technology, consumer orientation, and quality.
