EARLY CAREER CONSULTANT

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated early career professional to join our expanding team as an entry-level management consultant in our Philadelphia office.  This position supports a diverse mix of engagements and successful candidates will be expected to contribute to three to four projects concurrently.  Primary responsibilities include developing and applying analytic and financial models, interpreting the results of qualitative and quantitative analyses, interacting with clients on areas of their focused analysis, and supporting project team activities.  While the focus is on client work, consultants also assist in writing proposals, conduct research on industry trends and client-specific topics and support product development.  Over time, individuals are expected to develop consulting competence in one to two HS&S product lines.  

Candidates will have a master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) and up to two to three years of health care planning or management experience.  Solid analytical (qualitative and quantitative) and communication skills (written and oral) are required.  Familiarity with Microsoft Windows applications including PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheet, and Access database programs is also required.  Prior experience in a provider setting or in a consulting or project-oriented environment is preferred.  Travel to client sites is required.
