SENIOR CONSULTANT

Health Strategies & Solutions has a full-time opening for a senior consultant in its Philadelphia office. Successful candidates will have a master’s degree (preferably an MBA or MHA) and three to five+ years of health care management experience in a hospital or consulting firm. Candidates must demonstrate experience with managing complex strategic and business planning projects and have strong capabilities in the analytical work that forms the basis of these types of engagements. This position works extensively on client engagements and has considerable direct contact with clients, including travel to client sites. Participation in marketing activities including proposals, presentations, and articles is also expected.

Senior consultants are expected to manage two to three projects concurrently and demonstrate competence in two to three HS&S product lines.  Primary responsibilities include developing quantitative and qualitative analyses that lead to planning recommendations, summarizing results of the analyses, identifying planning implications and helping to direct the work of other staff members.
