Kathleen H. McCarthy - Principal

A principal with the firm’s strategic planning team and clinical program planning practice, Kathy brings a broad range experience as a hospital executive and management consultant to HS&S clients. 

As vice president for planning and marketing for two health care organizations over an 11-year period, Kathy developed and implemented strategic plans, including the addition of freestanding ambulatory care and ambulatory surgery centers, a cardiac catheterization laboratory, and a radiation oncology center.  She also spearheaded the creation of a master facility plan to support a major expansion and modernization programs. During her seven-year tenure as a consultant with Coopers & Lybrand, Kathy conducted financial feasibility studies for facility expansion as well as  financial and market analyses  for new program development and state regulatory filings.
